I can not provision view access for our wiki for our new emplyoees, all the newly assigned view access takes them to “Create new Wiki Page”

Hi Steven, can you invite wiki@youneedawiki.com as an editor or manager (if using a shared drive or folder in a shared drive).
I will have a fix out hopefully soon that makes this clear when sending to new users.

Should work as expected for other/new users.
When you give them access to the shared drive or folder (can be individual or via group) they will gain access to the wiki.

I tried to detail the reasons why as best I could in that ticket.
You can unshare folders/files with that account for anything that you don’t want us to have access to, but that will also prevent new users from accessing it as well.
I have made a note to update our permissions page and also outline the security practices being used for the wiki@youneedawiki.com account to make it a bit clearer.
